24. Turning Back, Line 3

“Repeated Turning Back. Danger.”

You are constantly changing your mind and going back to your old ways. Decide where you want to go in life — and a path that will get you there — then stick with it.

………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Turning Back too often can be dangerous. It may leave you stuck in old habits, when you want and need to move forward.

What are you Turning Back to? Do you fall off your diet every other day? Skip your exercise because it’s raining? Or potentially most damaging: Going back to a toxic partner?

Domestic violence statistics say an abused woman returns to her abuser an average of 7 times. If this advice strikes a chord with you, please, as the former head of a DV shelter, I implore you — make plans, quietly and quickly — to leave as soon as possible. And stay gone.

Repeated Turning Back is indeed dangerous.
