“In dealing with weeds, firm resolution is necessary.”
Pulling up one weed, or ridding yourself of one negative action or thought, won’t be enough. You need to deal with the bad stuff as it crops up, over and over again. Maintain your Resolve.

Our Main Message said you are facing a difficult situation that no one wants to talk about. (See blog for Jan. 22, 2022.) This is your famous “elephant in the room.” You must deal with it.
Line 5 says: You will have to deal with this problem on a continuing basis, perhaps for the rest of your life. Stay strong.
A common example of this is any kind of addiction — food, alcohol, drugs, gambling. It may be someone else’s addiction, or it may be your own. In either case, it won’t go away just because you deal with it once. Maintain your Resolve.
