57. The Gentle Wind, Line 2

“Proceeding humbly under the bed.”

A hidden enemy is present, most likely your own fear and anxiety. Bring it out in the open, and it will lose its power.

……………………………………………………………………….

What is your “hidden enemy?” Fear and anxiety are common, but in this case it may be your patience — or lack thereof.

The Book of Changes says: You have been advised in the Main Message that you can achieve “success through what is small.” You look at the path before you, calculate the small steps it will take, and say, “I can’t wait that long. I want success now!

Bring your “hidden enemy” out into the light. You can deal with it.

Impatience isn’t the only possible pitfall awaiting you. There’s also introspection.

Tomorrow: Line 3: “Proceeding Humbly repeatedly. Humiliation.”
