5. Waiting

“Waiting. If you are sincere, you have light and success.”

You are faced with a danger that must be overcome. Don’t attack it. Wait, secure in the strength of your Inner Truth. Your time will come.

What danger or difficulty lies ahead of you? Don’t jump into it with your fists flying, but do approach it confidently, with inner strength that is visible to others

R.L. Wing, in her book The I Ching Workbook, explains it this way: “An external approach to inner development can be compared to yoga practices. By adopting certain physical postures of balance and discipline, a resonant chord is struck in the spirit. Such an alignment between the internal and the external creates a more sensitive consciousness, a certain enlightened awareness, and an overall healthy atmosphere.”

We received only one changing line with Waiting, Line 3.
