47. Exhaustion, Line 5

. . . oppression at the hands of the man with the purple kneebands.”

You are being oppressed, even by those who have a duty to help you. All you can do is maintain your inner strength, and wait.

I love Line 5 because of the “purple kneebands.” In ancient China, purple kneebands were worn by government ministers, who had a duty to aid people in dire need of help.

We have received Exhaustion twice in recent days, so we’re assuming you are Exhausted and in need of help.

Line 5 says: Someone has a duty to step up and help you in your Exhaustion. But . . . it ain’t gonna happen.

Who is your “man with the purple kneebands?” Don’t wait for him to give you a hand.

Just maintain your inner strength and wait. The future message foretells considerable improvement.
