21. Biting Through

“Let justice be administered.”

You must ‘bite through’ the obstacle that has been holding you back. You cannot avoid, deny, or compromise.

………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

You’ve got a problem that just won’t go away. You have tried going around it, ignoring it, and ‘working with it.’ None of these tactics has gotten you anywhere.

This obstacle may be the actions of another, or you may have to administer some justice to yourself.

Ex.: Let’s say you own your own small business. Your mother nagged you into hiring your younger sister. You resisted for a long time because you knew Sis was a slacker, but you gave in, and now Sis is a deadweight, dragging the whole enterprise down.

The Book of Changes says: Give Sis the boot. It will be difficult and painful for you, Mom, and Sis, but it has to be done.

Or do you have an internal obstacle? Weight gain is a common one. ‘Sentence’ yourself to an exercise and diet routine. Stick to it. Every day. For months. It’s the only way.

We received two changing lines with additional advice, Lines 3 and 6.

………………..

Tomorrow: Line 3: “Bites on old dried meat.”
