There will always be conflicts within a family, or any group. Deal with these differences in a balanced way. When in doubt, err on the side of firmness.

The Yi says: Especially in these times of Covid pandemic, don’t treat every conflict as the end of the relationship. You have absorbed the erroneous notion that every time there’s a difference of opinion, there has to be a “winner” and a “loser.” Not so. Look for balance in your solutions.

If balance can’t be achieved, err on the side of preservation of order.
