47. Exhaustion, Line 5

” . . . oppression at the hands of the man with purple kneebands.”

You are being oppressed even by those who have a duty to help you. All you can do at this time is to maintain your inner strength and wait.

In addition to being Exhausted through no fault of your own — yesterday’s main message — you are struggling with someone who has a duty to help you. In ancient China, “the man with the purple kneebands” was a civil servant.

Are you having trouble getting the Covid vaccine? Are you wrestling with Social Security? Food stamps? Worker’s Comp? Health insurance? Are you being refused pain-killing medication you truly need because your clinic won’t prescribe opioids to anybody?

The Yi says: Remember, the cause of the Exhaustion is not your fault. Don’t beat yourself up. You must rely on your own inner strengths to see you through this time.

Do not despair. Our future reading promises Deliverance.

Tomorrow: Future: “A major change in your approach to a problem will clear the air and allow a fresh start.
